The DragonR QA team works on the General Emulation team to develop emulation solutions for the design of cutting-edge wireless products. The role focuses on developing and optimizing emulation solutions for advanced wireless technology, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of various system components.
Here’s a brief overview of the main responsibilities:
- **Emulation Platforms & Tools**: Working on emulation platforms such as FPGA Prototyping, Veloce, and Palladium; using emulation tools for synthesis, place and route, constraints, and clocking; and providing system debug support.
- **SoC Functionality**: Involves tasks related to SoC (System on Chip) functionality including CPU/DSP core, multimedia, IO, peripherals, DDR, modem, and bus protocols.
- **Model Development**: Developing synthesizable models for specific IPs to accelerate emulation deployment for a design.
- **Methodology Development**:
Participating in the development of methodologies for SoC design.
- **Debug Skills**: Utilizing strong debug skills to learn and resolve complex issues.
- **Continuous Development**: Contributing to the continuous development of tools, technology, and flows.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in ASIC design, verification, or a related work environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in emulation and silicon environments, pre-silicon prototyping, designing synthesizable models, knowledge of LPDDR3/4 or PCDDR, system Verilog & UVM, and debug tools.
- Familiarity with ARM CPU and SoC architectures, validation and debug of digital circuits, and scripting (Python, TCL).
Pay: From $30,000.00 per month
