**About Your Team (Application Hosting)**:
Application Hosting sits within the Aladdin Platform Engineering organization. It is responsible for:
**Your Role & Responsibilities**:
- Build a talented team who are responsible for supporting and delivering platform solutions.
- Engineer and maintain solutions to build & operate Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Design and implement solutions to orchestrate workflows on Kubernetes clusters.
- Provision Edge Routing, Security, and Caching services for Internet-facing products.
- Enhance and own our platform observability framework by refining and deploying telemetry based alerting and corresponding Incident and Problem Management processes.
- Be involved from inception of projects, understanding requirements, designing & developing solutions, and incorporating them into the designs of our platforms
- Own and build regional relationships with key internal and external clients.
- Partner with our Engineering, Product and Program Management teams in supporting the growth of our product and platform.




- Innovate by creating automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scale of our technology workstreams and platform processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 7+ years of hand-on experience working as part of Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or related teams.
- Proven experience building, managing and supporting large-scale platforms.
- Strong attention to details and focus on high quality delivery.
- 5+ years of experience of working with Kubernetes and programming with an imperative language (C/C++, Go, Python, etc.). CKA or CKAD certification is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of Cloud Native concepts and best practices.
- Strong grasp of networking and containerization fundamentals, including edge routing, DNS, ingress, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or another cloud provider.
- Hands-on experience with a configuration management product (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Crossplane, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software engineering & system design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and source control management.
- Practical knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Comfortable working with clients and partners at all levels of the business.
- Relentless desire for understanding how processes work and entrepreneurial drive to learn new skills and technologies.




- Experience automating workflows and familiarity with AIOps concepts.
- Experience in leading a team and is comfortable in providing technical mentorship.
