Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Design Engineer located in Tijuana. Reporting to the Automation Engineer, the Desing Engineer´s role involves: Responsible for designing and developing components, products, equipment, and systems
What a typical day looks like:
- Assisting in the design and development of engineering layouts, drawings, and documentation for components, assemblies, and subassemblies using CAD systems. Collaborating in the development of new or modified designs.
- Assisting in establishing design standards and configurations, ensuring adherence to company standards and specifications.
- Preparing ECOs and bills of materials that correspond to engineering drawings, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Performing engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks. Diagnosing malfunctions, analyzing test results, and proposing and implementing changes to resolve problems.
- Devising, fabricating, and assembling mechanical components or assemblies for various products.



Conducting tests on complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design and obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.
- Recording test procedures, results, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods. Maintaining software, documentation, and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
- Assisting engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for testing customer products per their specifications.
- Training technicians and operators on products, processes, and equipment, ensuring proper understanding and utilization
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Advanced English
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in designing and developing components, products, equipment, and systems.
- Expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables..
