The QA Engineering Supervisor is responsible for developing, establishing, and enforcing quality assurance standards and measures and makes any needed improvements to ensure products meet quality standards.
General Responsibilities
- Supervises the implementation of quality standards, ensure and execute compliance on every stage of the process
- Arranges and implements quality assurance strategies and regulations
- Assess potential risks, ensures compliance and gives recommendations
- Takes responsibility for all quality control aspects of the process (laboratories studies, clinical research, testing, operations, raw materials, production, finished product or services)
- Coordinates audits and regulatory inspections
- Liaises with external vendors, contractors or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards
- Coordinates quality trainings
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
