**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Organize and operate Third Party Distribution services using Lean principles.
- Keep up with operating budgets and operating costs.
- Managing inventory, and cycle counting metrics.
- Negotiation of freight rates for assigned locations, Inbound, Outbound, Domestic and Export.
- Identify and pursue cost reduction opportunities, through constant improvement process to achieve the lowest operating cost.
- Supervise traffic routing and applicable rate classification.
- Facilitate communication between shipping and customer service departments.
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly carrier performance metrics.
- Maintain effective communication with the approved customs brokers and provide them with the information and documents necessary for import/export procedures (invoices, series list, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of ladings). This person will lead the Mexicali/Calexico operation in Third-Party Logistics services as well as give support to the enterprise in Transportation Management.
Experiência y requisitos
**Skills required**:
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and the Internet.
- Negotiation experience required.




- Experience shipping to large customer base.
- Understanding of IMMEX program QUALIFICATIONS
- Communication Skills: Both written and verbal skills are required.
- 1 year Customer Service experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year of Customs Industry experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: you will be dealing with various agencies in the course of your daily work.
- Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills.
- Extremely organized self-starter, flexible, highly independent with the ability to maintain records.
- Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365).
- Self-motivated, able to learn quickly with a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ensures effective work habits, including punctuality, responsiveness, and accessibility to others. US Visa is required
