- Job Summary:
This role supports manufacturing engineering activities in production processes, equipment, machinery, fixtures, gauges, and tooling.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_:_
- Consults with management, engineering, and other personnel on manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Supports research and recommendation new manufacturing methods, machinery, and equipment to increase productivity, reduce waste, and reduce costs.
- Proposes improvements for the manufacturing processes.
- Maintain and update CAD documentation for plant layout designs, fixture, and equipment locations.
- Supports company-wide standardization of processes, equipment, and management systems.
- Proposes the design and specification of gauges, fixtures, tooling, material handling and material transportation in support of ongoing manufacturing operations.

SCOPE & IMPACT:
The individual must plan, organize, and optimize the manufacturing processes. With a thorough understanding of manufacturing concepts and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly, this position has a major impact on reducing downtime,



improving efficiency, and reducing costs within manufacturing processes. Helps to document current production processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 0 - 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel.
- Intermediate AutoCAD
- English basic proficiency.
- AutoCAD
- Up to 5% Travel Required.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge/experience in lean manufacturing and statistical processes control.
- Knowledge in upholstery processes.
- Experience with process improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing and Core Tools.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office environment most of the time. Often required to go to the floor to evaluate. Required to sit, repetitive hand motion (such as typing), to hear, listen, and talk. Often required to be involved in the product building process.
