- Participate in the achievement of goals for the production unit relative to key Quality Operating System metrics; including gross margins, scrap, labor efficiency, safety, equipment utilization (OEE), on-time delivery, training, inventories, overtime costs, customer satisfaction, and expense spending.
- Provides guidance and leadership to warehouse team.
- Manage warehouse area.
- Responds accurately, timely and professionally to internal customer inquiries regarding transit times and shipment information.
- Understands how to prepare all shipping and receiving documents in a timely and accurate manner and assist the specialists to make sure they are done correctly.
- Ensure specialists accurately complete all shipping and receiving transactions.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weight, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, box label, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Review daily order backlogs and identifies problem areas. Gives immediate and professional feedback to internal customers on order shortages, changes, delays, or other important issues.
- Works pro-actively with planning and service department on a regular basis to obtain current customer routing information.
- Participate in yearly physical inventory.




- Recommend improvements to department processes.Maintain a neat
- and organized work area.
- Always expected to exhibit and demonstrate safe behaviors and to perform job in a safe manner.
- Provide support to the accounting department in investigating receipt errors and inventory issues.
- Assist the production process in ensuring inventory and ERP System locations are accurate.
Experiência y requisitos
- Knowledge of software, databases and inventory systems
- Numerical, visual and manual skills.
- Knowledge forklift driving
- Knowledge and experience in cycle counts, shiping and receiving procces
- Comunications skills
- Previous experience with international shipping & warehouse management
- Previous experience leading and directing the work of others
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Fundamental understanding of logistics
- 5 years of experience to be considered
- Bilingual English, written and spoken
