Join our team as an Analyst Trade Operations I, where you will play a key role in ensuring our company’s adherence to international trade laws and customs regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment while supporting general import and export operations, certifications, and compliance programs. Role Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily import and export operations to ensure they comply with internal procedures and government regulations.
- Review and resolve data discrepancies in trade transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping policies and customs laws.
- Support IMMEX program compliance, including managing Annex 24 data accuracy and timely submission of Annex 30 reports.
- Request, analyze, and follow up on customs broker data and certifications (e.g., CIVA compliance).
- Manage registration and submission of trade certificates and steel permits through government platforms, ensuring timely delivery.
- Review and process customs broker invoices, including validation and preparation for payment within established deadlines.
- Provide accurate and timely information to government authorities during audits or inquiries.
- Promote adherence to corporate health, safety,



and environmental policies, including waste classification and emergency response plans.
- Support and comply with the organization’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, including timely reporting of compliance documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Foreign Trade, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, or import/export management.
- Proven knowledge of IMMEX program requirements, including Annex 24 and Annex 30 management.
- Experience with customs broker management, invoice review, and government platform submissions.
- Familiarity with trade documentation, preferential certificates, and steel permits.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage accurate electronic recordkeeping for customs compliance.
- Basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to trade compliance.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of hire.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and trade compliance systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Trade Compliance, Customs Law, or related areas.
- Experience working with DataStage or similar systems for managing Annex 24/30 data.




- Familiarity with ISO 14001 environmental management standards and procedures.
- Experience in customs audits and responding to government authorities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Additional language proficiency (English preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and accuracy.
- Experience managing international trade treaties and origin certifications.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices, including waste classification and chemical substance management.
Description:
Works to ensure that the trade-specific requirements that govern import and export transactions are followed in accordance with the law collaborating cross functionally on optimization projects.
Assure accurate trade compliance data: Annex 24th., HS, export, country of origin, permits and any other government requirements and regulations for customs purposes
Solicits and/or issues steel permits and similars.
Support all pertinent Donaldson teams to explore cost-savings opportunities.
FTAs item analysis,qualification, registration and issue processes.
Assist in the development of trade compliance work instructions, frequently asked questions and procedures.
Maintain adherence with Donaldson’s recordkeeping policy as well as with local regulations.
