Resumen: Manage the manufacturing operations of a given focus factory within a facility, from raw material through final assembly. In addition to production, activities to manage include manufacturing engineering, maintenance design engineering, production control, order entry and material scheduling. **Responsabilidades**:
1. Manufacturing
- Direct scheduling, manufacturing engineering and production activities to achieve short and long range manufacturing goals and quality objectives while operating within budget. Monitor performance and implement corrective action necessary to achieve business goals.
2. Productivity
- Drive Sarbanes Oxley, ISO, and productivity projects to ensure the plant-wide goals and objectives are met. Champion and drive continuous improvement through utilization of Lean Six Sigma tools and other techniques to improve cost, quality, safety and service. Sponsor Lean Six Sigma projects of direct reports.
3. Performance Management Process
- Administer PMP across area of responsibility to insure effectiveness, timeliness and management of expected outcomes. Provide strategic guidance to ensure employees are focused, aligned and engaged in the pursuit of the overall business strategies and goals.
4. Communication




- Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization as well as with customers and suppliers, as applicable, to keep everyone abreast of the state of the business, resolve problems, and achieve business goals.
5. Labor Relations
- Maintain harmonious labor/management relations through fair and equitable administration of the collective bargaining agreement.
6. Safety/Environmental
- Operate business within all safety/environmental federal, state, and local regulations as well as all company policies and procedures.
7. Diversity
- Encourage plant-wide diversity approaches that promote the acceptance of differences and capitalize on the strengths of a truly diverse workforce.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Must display strong and effective leadership skills in team building, goal setting & achievement, communication, strategies, and change management.
- Must possess strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kanban, Kaizen, system implementation, Safety policies & practices and Focus Factory operations.
- Must be proficient in the use of various computer programs including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, LotusNotes, etc.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification - Experience: 10-15 yrs. - Bachelors Degree, Master Preferred.
