Helps execute programs and innovative initiatives for the Manufacturing Process Improvement area, under direct supervision. Contributes to less complex components of projects, programs, or processes for the Manufacturing Process Improvement area. Performs simple trend analyses to support continuous improvement of the organization's Manufacturing Process Improvement strategy. Documents the development of new manufacturing processes and improvements to existing processes that maximize production capabilities and affordability. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. This job is salaried.

**We are searching for the best talent for BUSINESS EXCELLENCE ENGINEER II to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.**
**You will be responsible for**:




- Is responsible of ensuring that the goals of his/her projects are aligned with the strategic plan of the plant.
- Is responsible of ensuring that the performance measures system is kept updated.
- Is responsible of the training about the system and change for the people involved in the different areas, such as manufacturing, supply chain, materials, etc.
- Is responsible of updating and informing his/her clients about the results.
- Coordinates meetings on periodical basis to present the advances, possible issues and status of each project.
- Is responsible of maintaining open and effective communication with other project Leaders. He/she will be evaluated according to the results obtained, the time and impact in the performance measures of the Manufacturing processes.
- Is responsible of the understanding of the Quality procedures, of the safety, environmental and ergonomic aspects that are necessary to comply with or to implement during the project (GMPs, ISO, FDA, Internal Policies, etc.).
- Is responsible of ensuring the personal compliance and of the company with all the regulations, policies and procedures through its processes, including Health, Safety and Environment and ergonomics.
- Maintains optimal communication with the rest of the associated departments to obtain the biggest advantage of the process’s improvements.
- Provides support to the display of JJPS, Six Sigma, PE and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State,



local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures in regard of Environment, Health and Safety.
- Supervision responsibilities: Can supervise, coordinate and technically check the work of the engineering technicians of Operational Excellence, estimates human resources needs, programs and allocates work to comply with the delivery dates.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Completed Bachelor in Engineering, any specialization.
- 3 to 5 years in a similar position.
- Knowledge of materials systems, inventories and supply chain.
- Experience in the change management preferably.
**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:
- Strong knowledge of computer packages such as Excel, Access and PowerPoint. AutoCAD and other similar software.
- Must possess demonstrated analytical capacity.
- Bilingual English - Spanish.
- Good interpersonal relations and ease of oral and written communication.
- Must think strategically and think tactically.
- Must be perseverant: good follow up and project direction.
- Knowledge about the Business from Start to Finish (supply chain).
- Must understand and translate the needs of the client.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma).
