The **Architect, Senior Design Manager** is a member of Sevan's Architecture & Design Team and works alongside a group of individuals to provide architectural services to client projects. A licensed architect, accountable for producing accurate design and construction documents for our multi-site clients and supporting other team members in achieving team goals. Experience with multi-site restaurant, retail, grocery, and/or fuel projects is highly preferred.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Performs assignments under direction and supervisory approval of others for all projects.
- Prepares complete, accurate and code compliant construction documents.
- Provides technical and creative design solutions that align with program intent.
- Applies client’s program requirements and design criteria to existing buildings and structures.
- Responsible for maintaining project schedules, deadlines and commitments for all projects.
- Coordinates work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
- Possesses a working knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements.
- Works with supervisor and peers to pursue professional development.
- Accountable for timely completion of assigned projects.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently on simple to moderately difficult projects.
- Capable of prioritizing and work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Architectural Responsibilities** may include:
- Conducts project due diligence with municipalities to determine local zoning and building code requirements.
- Accountable for resolving plan review comments from code officials.
- Project liaison to code officials, outside consultants, suppliers, and contractors regarding questions to the construction documents.
- Adheres to CAD standards and follows assigned drafting protocol across all projects.
- Completes the required continuing education requirements per their jurisdiction to maintain their professional license.
**Qualifications**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be highly proficient working in REVIT and proficient working in AutoCAD. Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, is preferred.
- Licensed Architect with a 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent; 8 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and advanced techniques.
- Expertise in drawings, specifications, and building materials.
- Capable to complete moderately difficult architectural assignments with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to execute and coordinate multiple projects at a time.
- Experience in multi-site projects highly preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (required), Revit (required), Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet. 3ds Max is a plus.

This role is remote based and will work closely with Architects, Designers, Engineers, and clients in the U.S. Multi-shift work may often be required to accomplish work to meet aggressive schedules. Must be versátil, adaptable, and able to work with fluid schedules. Able to work remotely in a home office setting and manage time effectively with multiple projects and deadlines.
