**Job Summary**:
The Import/Export Supervisor will oversee and manage all import and export operations for our facility in Tijuana. This role ensures compliance with international trade regulations, coordinates logistics, and supervises a team to ensure efficient and timely movement of goods.
**Supervise Import/Export Operations**:
- Oversee daily import and export activities, ensuring compliance with Mexican and U.S. government regulations, including CTPAT, PROSEC, and other relevant programs.
**Team Management**:
- Lead and mentor a team of import/export personnel, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
**Customs Compliance**:
- Develop and implement strategies for customs compliance, ensuring all documentation and procedures meet regulatory requirements.
**Logistics Coordination**:
- Coordinate transportation services for the shipment of goods, working with internal departments, clients, and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
**Risk Management**:
- Participate in risk assessments and develop policies and procedures to manage customs compliance and business risks.
**Training and Development**:
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on import/export regulations and procedures.
**Audit and Investigations**:
- Lead compliance audits and investigations, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for import/export activities, including licenses, permits, and certifications
- **Requirements**:_
**1) Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
**2) Experience**:
- 5-7 years of experience in customs, import/export, traffic/transportation, and government compliance areas.
**3) Skills**:
- Experience with import/export compliance systems.
- Strong knowledge of Annex 24 and Annex 31 requirements.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
**4) Certifications**:
- CTPAT certification is a must
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
