**Job Title: Network Engineer**
**Location: Hybrid mode in Mexico City**

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, deploy, and manage complex network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers across diverse platforms.
- Manage circuit provisioning and DWDM deployments.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware such as Cisco Nexus 9K/7K, Cisco 6500 series, and Arista switches.
- Work with network operating systems including Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and Arista EOS.
- Create comprehensive documentation and connectivity maps to identify business-critical areas and stakeholders—used as a foundation for migration runbooks.
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency and consistency across environments.
- Execute network migration plans with mínimal disruption to business operations, adhering to predefined schedules and protocols.
- Strengthen network security through best-practice implementation and regular risk/vulnerability assessments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues efficiently and proactively.
- Keep current with emerging networking trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.




**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven experience in data center network migrations, including transitions to cloud or hybrid environments.
- Proficiency with network operating systems (Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, Arista EOS).
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Mexico City.
**Technical Skills and Competencies**
- Expert-level knowledge of network architecture, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, LAN/WAN, and QoS.
- Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching technologies (VLANs, STP, RSTP, MSTP), and link aggregation.
- Experience with network automation and scripting tools such as GitHub, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- In-depth knowledge of network security standards and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a rapidly evolving tech environment.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIS are a plus.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per month
