**Position Overview**:
The Materials Manager will oversee the planning, ordering, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
**Materials Planning**:
- Develop and implement materials management strategies in alignment with company goals and customer demands using Epicor ERP system.
- Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and customer orders.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure production continuity.
**Inventory Management**:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
**Logistics and Distribution**:
- Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of materials to production and finished products to customers.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Team Leadership**:
- Lead, train, and develop the materials management team to achieve department goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.




- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all materials management activities.
**Reporting and Analysis**:
- Prepare regular reports on materials management performance, including inventory levels, procurement activities, and supplier performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and inventory control.
- Certification in supply chain management or related fields (e.g., APICS, CPSM)..
- Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems, Epicor or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.
**Proficiency in Mandarin and Spanish OR English languages (written and verbal)**
