**What will you do?**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material specifications meet design requirements.
- Conduct materials testing and analysis to validate performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to materials selection, testing, and compliance.
- Provide technical support for sourcing and procurement of materials, working alongside suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
**How will you do it?**
- Utilize advanced materials characterization techniques and software tools to analyze and select appropriate materials.
- Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to troubleshoot material-related issues and implement improvements.
- Conduct research on new materials and technologies to support innovation and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare and present findings on material performance, compliance,
and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in all materials handling and usage processes.
**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials engineering, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of materials testing standards and protocols, as well as relevant industry regulations.
- Proficient in CAD software and materials characterization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
