**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable **Company Accountant** to join our team in Mexico. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting activities, including **Mexican tax compliance**, monthly closings, and liaising with local authorities (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, etc.).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Handle full accounting operations in accordance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF).
- Prepare and file monthly tax declarations (IVA, ISR, DIOT, etc.) through the SAT portal.
- Manage payroll calculation and submissions to IMSS, INFONAVIT, and other institutions.
- Maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping (daily journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with all local financial regulations and company internal policies.
- Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
- Support the company in annual audits and tax reviews.
- Maintain proper electronic invoicing (CFDI) and digital accounting records.




- Monitor cash flow and assist with budget control.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Mexican accounting and taxation (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Familiarity with SAT platform and electronic invoicing (CFDI 4.0).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Contpaq, Aspel, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong knowledge of local payroll procedures and labor-related reporting.
- Attention to detail and high level of responsibility.
- Proficiency in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
