- We are looking for a talented and motivated Security Information Intern to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. As a Security Information Intern, you will work closely with our experienced security professionals to monitor and analyze security events, detect and respond to security incidents, and improve the overall security posture of our organization.**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Currently enrolled in a computer science, cybersecurity, or related course
- Strong interest in information security
- Familiarity with security concepts and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and vulnerability scanners
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
**What We're Looking For**

- The student will understand how to analyze common log formats to identify suspicious traffic and events.- OBJECTIVE: By the end of the internship the student should be able to:
- Review web server logs to identify normal vs suspicious traffic- Review Linux server logs to identify normal vs suspicious events- Review Windows server/workstation logs to identify normal vs suspicious events- OUTCOME: The student will be able to work as an entry-level security analyst who is able to review various system logs and- Identify types of logs and events generated by each system- Identify normal traffic/events- Identify and propose action on suspicious traffic/events**Ready to Make a Difference?**-
