Seeking a talented and detail-driven **Video Editor**, a coaching and mentoring organization dedicated to transformational growth and personal development. This part-time role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for storytelling, high production standards, and experience editing compelling YouTube content.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Video Editing & Production**
- Edit 4 YouTube videos per week (5-15 minutes each) aligned with the brand’s tone and quality standards
- Add transitions, text overlays, effects, audio enhancements, and color grading for a polished, professional result
- Sync audio with visuals and ensure seamless playback across all videos
**Content Optimization**
- Format all videos to meet YouTube’s technical and creative standards
- Include branded intros, outros, CTAs, and audience retention elements
- Ensure all assets meet aspect ratio, resolution, and file format requirements
**Collaboration & Feedback**
- Communicate clearly with the internal team to understand project goals and creative direction
- Incorporate feedback and requested revisions within 24-48 hours
- Contribute 1-2 actionable creative suggestions per week to improve content performance
**File Management**
- Organize raw footage, edited content, and final assets using a consistent naming and folder structure
- Maintain backups and version control across all projects
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- 1-2+ years of hands-on experience editing video content for YouTube or other social platforms
- Proficient in**Adobe Premiere Pro**,**Final Cut Pro**,**CapCut Pro**, or**DaVinci Resolve**:
- Ability to create clean, engaging cuts with excellent pacing, storytelling, and visual flow
- Skilled in syncing and editing voiceovers, background music, and sound effects
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to brand consistency and polish
- Highly organized with excellent file and asset management habits




- Fluent in English with clear communication and response times
**Nice To Have**
- Experience with**motion graphics or animation**(e.g., Adobe After Effects)
- Understanding of YouTube SEO, analytics, and audience engagement strategies
- Ability to design complementary visuals (thumbnails, overlays, etc.) in**Canva or Photoshop**:

**Working Hours**
- Monday to Friday | 4 Hours per Day (Eastern Standard Time) | Adaptable hours, as long as deadlines are met
- Must deliver**4 edited videos per week**consistently
- Must be available to respond to messages within 10 minutes during active collaboration windows
