The **Operations Manager** will be responsible for leading all daily plant operations within the framework of the **Faurecia Excellence System (FES)**, ensuring compliance with production, quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
**Main Activities**:
- Manage the full scope of plant operations to ensure reliable and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement **continuous improvement strategies** focused on optimizing resources and reducing operational costs.
- Lead the **Lean / FES department**, driving operational excellence initiatives through **Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma** methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (**OEE, scrap, efficiency, delivery, costs**) and implement effective corrective actions.
- Coordinate with **Maintenance, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics** teams to achieve business goals and performance targets.
- Promote a strong **safety and environmental compliance culture**, ensuring adherence to all **HSE** standards.
- Develop and coach operations and supervisory teams to build high-performing talent through leadership and training programs.
- Actively participate in internal and external audits under **ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949** standards.
- Ensure alignment to the **Master Production Schedule (MPS)** and meet customer delivery commitments within the automotive sector.
Experiência y requisitos
**Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical,



or Manufacturing Engineering** (Master’s degree is a plus).
**5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing operations**, preferably in Tier 1 or OEM environments.
Proven experience leading **production, maintenance, and quality teams** in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
Strong background in **Lean Manufacturing, FES, or TPS** systems implementation.
Solid understanding of **production planning, cost control, logistics, and continuous improvement processes**.
Familiarity with **ISO 9001, IATF 16949**, and **HSE standards**.
Advanced **data analysis and KPI management** skills (Excel, Power BI, SAP or similar systems).
**Leadership and people development experience** — ability to coach, motivate, and empower cross-functional teams.
**Strong communication skills** and the ability to collaborate across departments and corporate levels.
**English: Advanced level** (spoken and written).
Availability to work on-site and adapt to operational demands.
