We are currently looking for a Sr SAP Security and GRC Specialist to join our team in Aguascalientes or Mexico City.
Nissan North America, Inc. utilizes SAP as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to record, manage, and report all company financial transactions. Nissan also uses SAP's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system ("Access Controls" component) to manage segregation of duties (SOD) risks, mitigate those risks (via "Mitigating Controls), and provision emergency access (i.e., "Firefighter") where needed.
The Nissan SAP Security team is responsible for administering security (i.e., provisioning new user access, updating existing users, troubleshooting/resolving issues) in the company's Financials & Purchasing and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems for all North American and Mexico affiliate companies.
**A Day in the Life**:
The Nissan SAP Security team is responsible for over 6,000 SAP users, numerous security roles and authorizations, and maintenance/support requirements across the company's SAP Financials & Purchasing, as well as GRC systems. Specific job responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analyzing requirements for creating new security roles
- Creating, testing, and transporting new security roles across SAP landscapes
- Provisioning new user access to SAP production and non-production systems




- Modifying existing user access in SAP production and non-production systems
- Configuring and maintaining the GRC "Access Controls" system (including "rulesets")
- Troubleshooting security issues and supporting end users
- Working with end business users to support new project developments
- Creating and maintaining SAP Security-related standard operating procedures
- Working with auditors to ensure compliance with specific JSOX controls
**Who We're Looking for**:
**Required**:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in a professional accounting / finance role.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. A CPA and/or an MBA a plus.
- Fluent English
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and working knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong knowledge of SAP and working knowledge of mainframe systems
- Proficient in accounts payable processes and Finance and purchasing policies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully work with diverse groups and prioritize workload
