**Flexsteel Juarez** is looking of talent to the position as **EHS Engineer**.
- **Main function**:_The EHS Engineer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and systems that support excellence in environmental, health & safety and security.
- **Key responsibilities**:_
- Management, compliance and presentation of EHS KPIs.
- To foster a culture of proactivity, responsibility, commitment and sustainability through robust EHS programs and processes.
- Develop and manage EHS programs, policies and procedures.
- Responsible of government procedures at the municipal, state and federal levels, and EHS legal compliance.
- Manage ergonomics, injury case management, and return-to-work programs.
- Schedule EHS training, studies, and drills.
- Internal consultant and facilitator on EHS topics and training.
- Handling external audits.
- Audit the facilities and assess risks for timely prevention.
- Incident investigation,



root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in planning to incorporate new processes, machinery, and equipment, ensuring that all EHS precautions are included.
- **Qualifications and skills**:_
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, or environmental science.
- +5 years of experience in EHS within the manufacturing industry.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Analytical skills for problem-solving and excellent knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Effective written and oral communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- English level B2.
