**General Description of the Role**
The Junior Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining short-term production schedules for Co-Manufacturers to ensure timely product availability and adherence to service and cost objectives. This role supports the Supply Hub Planning Manager by converting demand signals into executable plans, coordinating with external partners and internal teams, and monitoring performance to address deviations proactively. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.Key Responsibilities and Activities
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production plans for Co-Manufacturers based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints delivering Customer Service (OTIF, Fill Rate), Inventory (DOS, Safety Stock, SLOB),



and Cost targets for Mexico and markets supplied by the Mexico plants
- Ensure alignment of finite production schedules with material availability, labor, and Co-Man capabilities.
- Proactively share any constraints on Finished Goods to meet the business objectives and find alternatives to meet the unconstraint demand. Collaborate with Customer Service any allocation requirements if needed.
- Monitor plan adherence and proactively address deviations by coordinating with Co-Mans and internal stakeholders.
- Update and maintain accurate master data (lead times, MOQ, routings) in planning systems.
- Collaborate with Materials Planning, Deployment, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
- Run RCCP analysis; flag constraints proactively and propose mitigation plans such as, alternate lines, and pre-builds
- Participate in S&OE; meetings and provide updates on Co-Man production status, supply risks and mitigation plans
- Lead SLOB mitigation actions
- Build launch readiness plans (capacity, run strategy); track milestones, escalate risks and share mitigation plans
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and standard work documentation.

**Qualifications & Experiences**




- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related functions (experience with Co-Mans or CPG preferred).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience a plus).
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of planning tools and reporting dashboards preferred.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English).
**Work Model & Travel**
- Hybrid (Mexico City) with periodic travel to plants and distribution centers (up to ~10-20%)
