As a **Security Officer - Retail Foot Patrol** in **Santa Fe, NM**, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and store teams with clear communication and helpful service. You will use computers and/or tablets to document activity and share timely updates. **What You'll Do**:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, back-of-house areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations per post orders.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct, and assist with loss prevention support as directed by site policies.
- Complete required shift documentation, incident reports, and activity logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management as needed.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Guard Card/License - preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
