**SECTION I**: GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Security Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating daily security operations to ensure the protection of personnel, assets, property, and information. This role works closely with internal departments, external partners, and the security team to maintain a safe and compliant environment across the facility.
**SECTION II**: MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
**Operational Coordination**:
Supervise the daily operations of the security team at guard booths, patrols, and critical points.
Ensure compliance with BRP corporate procedures regarding access control, CCTV, EHS, emergencies, and asset protection.
Coordinate schedules, roles, shifts, and movements of security personnel.
Maintain constant communication with security supervisors, team leaders, and contractor personnel.
**Access Control and Asset Protection**:
Verify the proper functioning of access control (employees, visitors, suppliers, carriers, contractors).
Authorize or block credentials, access passes, temporary badges, and special permits according to policies.
Supervise the entry/exit process of materials and merchandise (exit passes, returns, internal deliveries).
Ensure the integrity of warehouses, production lines, and restricted areas.
**Monitoring and Analysis**:
Supervise the CCTV system and ensure that monitoring is performed according to guidelines.
Identify risks, suspicious activity, or non-compliance and generate timely reports.
Analyze incidents, losses, near misses, and discrepancies detected by patrols or systems.
**Incident Management**:
Act as the first point of contact in emergencies (evacuations, fires, accidents, intrusions).
Document incidents in corporate format (STARI or others).
Follow up on investigations of losses, asset damage, material discrepancies, and LP issues.




**Interaction with Other Departments**:
Work directly with Production, Quality, Materials, HR, EHS, Maintenance, and Logistics.
Support the CEPS team, contractors, and internal suppliers.
Participate in safety meetings, internal audits, and process reviews.
**Regulatory Compliance and Audits**:
Ensure compliance with BRP corporate policies regarding physical security and asset protection.
Prepare evidence, indicators, and documentation for internal and external audits.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
**Administration**:
Maintain inventory of radios, keys, badges, controls, beacons, fire extinguishers, and security equipment.
Keep shift logs, incident reports, and authorized passes.
Report weekly and monthly metrics to the Security Manager.
