Job Description: VPS Trainee

- Job Summary**
The VPS Trainee will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to develop their skills and knowledge in Valeo Production System (VPS) principles and methodologies. This role involves assisting experienced professionals in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring adherence to Valeo's operational standards.
- Job Responsibilities**
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within various production lines.
- Support the implementation of new processes and tools to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Participate in workshops, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and other departments to understand operational challenges and contribute to solutions.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project progress, findings, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with Valeo's quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.




- Receive mentorship and guidance from senior VPS professionals.Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, etc.), Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a strong interest in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or other relevant languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- May require occasional travel to other Valeo sites.
