Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer to support and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure. This is a freelance, on-call role, requiring engineers to respond to incidents and ensure high system availability.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Nutanix infrastructure (AOS, AHV, Prism)
Conduct system health checks, upgrades, and performance tuning
Troubleshoot incidents and provide root cause analysis
Provide support as part of the on-call structure
Implement backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies
Support migration and cloud integration projects
Ensure adherence to IT governance and security standards
Required Skills & Experience
4-7 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering
Proven hands-on experience with Nutanix platform




Strong knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V
Understanding of networking and storage systems
Experience working within ITIL environments
Exposure to scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash) preferred
Mandatory Requirement
All engineers must achieve a minimum score of 90% or higher in the induction assessment to be considered successful
Preferred Qualifications
Nutanix certification (NCP, NCM, or equivalent)
Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure or AWS
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and within distributed teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
