**Position Overview**
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can make quick decisions, and can coordinate fleet activities while ensuring safety, compliance, and on‑time performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Planning & Dispatching**
- Plan daily and weekly routes for drivers based on customer requirements and operational priorities.
- Dispatch drivers efficiently while ensuring compliance with HOS (Hours of Service), safety rules, and internal policies.
- Track and monitor equipment movement, driver progress, and load statuses throughout the day.
- Resolve last-minute changes, delays, or operational challenges with proactive solutions.
- Maintain clear and constant communication with drivers regarding routes, updates, and instructions.
**Fleet Manager & System Operations**
- Utilize **Fleet Manager** software for tracking, planning, and dispatching purposes.
- Monitor equipment status, maintenance alerts, and GPS updates through the system.
- Update trip details, availability, assignments, and customer information within Fleet Manager.
- Generate reports and analyze fleet performance metrics when required.
**Coordination & Communication**
- Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and the safety department.
- Communicate load details, appointment times, and route instructions to drivers accurately.




- Maintain professional communication with customers regarding shipment status and exceptions.
- Support drivers with route guidance, documentation requirements, and trip issues.
**Documentation & Compliance**
- Maintain proper dispatch records, driver hours, and load documentation.
- Ensure all company and regulatory compliance requirements are met.
- Assist with incident reporting, logbook irregularities, and fleet compliance processes.
**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in planning, dispatching, or fleet coordination (mandatory).
- Strong experience with **Fleet Manager** or similar TMS platforms (required).
- Knowledge of transportation operations, logistics, and load planning.
- Strong decision-making, multitasking, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in cross‑border Mexico-U.S. transportation (asset).
- Strong problem-solving ability and proactive mindset.
- Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred but not mandatory).

Pay: $37,000.00 - $42,000.00 per month
