Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity this September?
We, CPSS, are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected primary school in Birmingham that is on the look out for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work in one of their year 1 class, this role will include 1-to-1 support as well as assisting with personal care.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September **** and continuing until April ****.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide engaging 1-to-1 sessions for year 1 pupil/s with SEND
- Support pupils learning, communication and social development both inside and outside the classroom
- Work closely with both the SENDCO and teacher to deliver relevant and tailored learning plans
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
Holds an Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
Has relevant qualifications or experience
Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
