Video Editor / Motion Designer
At TLNT, we believe that recruitment is more than just filling roles — it’s about connecting humans with humans. We’re a people-first organization partnering with top U.S. companies to help them grow by attracting exceptional talent, and we know that the right content can open the right doors.
A fast-growing beauty and lifestyle brand is seeking a nimble, curious, detail-loving, and creative Video Editor / Motion Designer to bring the brand to life through video and motion across every channel. This contract role partners closely with the Creative Director to translate creative briefs into high-performing video assets for paid ads, YouTube, organic social, the company’s website, and Amazon.
The idóneo candidate will be part editor, part motion designer—equally comfortable cutting UGC and ambassador footage as they are building polished motion graphics, kinetic typography, and animated product moments. They are also experienced in AI tools and excited to use them as part of an everyday workflow, including the company's Veo 3 account. This person thrives in a fast-paced DTC environment, can self-manage against tight deadlines, and is excited to help scale the company's creative output. This role reports to the Creative Director.
This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a leading US-based company—fully remote.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end production of video assets: editing, motion graphics, sound design, color, and final delivery across all formats and placements.
- Partner closely with the Creative Director on ad concepting, ensuring every cut is on-brand, on-strategy, and built for performance.
- Paid Ad Creative
- Edit and produce high-volume paid video creative for Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and other performance channels, working from Creative Director-led briefs.
- Cut compelling UGC and ambassador videos: trimming raw creator footage into hook-driven, conversion-focused ads with on-brand pacing, captions, and graphics.
- Design and animate motion graphics, lower thirds, kinetic typography, product call-outs, and end cards that elevate ad creative beyond a simple cut.
- Version, resize, and adapt ads across placements, formats, and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) without sacrificing quality.
- Iterate on creative based on performance data and Creative Director feedback, quickly turning around variations to test new hooks, formats, and messaging.
- YouTube, Social & Organic Content
- Edit long-form and short-form videos for YouTube.
- Cut organic social content for Instagram, TikTok,
and Facebook—Reels, Stories, and feed video—reflecting the brand’s voice and trends.
- Produce ambassador and creator-led edits, stitching together UGC into polished, scroll-stopping social content.
- Website, Amazon & E-commerce Video
- Edit and motion-design video assets for the website, including PDP hero videos, how-to videos, and on-site product explainers.
- Produce video assets for Amazon, including PDP videos, A+ content modules, and
- Amazon storefront video, optimized for the platform's specs and best practices.
- Build motion assets for email and lifecycle (GIFs, looping product moments, animated hero modules) in support of Klaviyo campaigns and flows.
- Motion Design & Brand Animation
- Develop motion design systems that extend visual identity into animation—logo behaviors, type treatments, transitions, and brand-ownable motion moments.
- Animate product features, before/after reveals, ingredient call-outs, and educational sequences that simplify complex product stories.
- Sound design, mix, and license-safe music selection for every cut.
- AI & Emerging Tools
- Use AI tools as a core part of the daily workflow to accelerate production, expand creative range, and unlock concepts that wouldn't be possible with traditional production alone.
- Generate AI video assets—including b-roll, conceptual scenes, product moments, and stylized sequences for ads, social, and web.
- Stay current on emerging AI video, motion, and audio tools, and bring recommendations to the Creative Director on where to integrate them into the pipeline.
- Develop prompt libraries, references, and quality standards alongside the Creative Director to ensure AI-generated content stays on-brand and production-ready.
- Asset Management & Collaboration
- Help keep our video asset library organized in Google Drive, including raw footage, project files, exports, and final master files, so the team can easily find and reuse assets.
- Maintain clean, well-labeled project files and version control in Google Drive so handoffs to external partners and future iterations are seamless.
- Manage day-to-day work, briefs, deadlines, and revisions in Monday.com,
keeping task statuses and timelines up to date for the Creative Director and broader team.
- Provide creative input and recommendations during shoot planning to ensure footage captured by Soona and other partners is editable, motion-friendly, and reusable across channels.
