Objective
Support global HSE performance by implementing management systems and ensuring data management and communications.
Assuring accurate HSE reporting, and provide operational and administrative support across integral HSE initiatives while providing change management adoption practices.
(TEMPORARY JOB - 4 MONTHS)
Main Responsibilities
- Consolidate general HSE data, statistics, and reports to improve reliability and accessibility for when required by internal and external parties, including certifiers.
- Knowledge of ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), including implementation, auditing processes, gap assessments, corrective action follow-up, and support for global HSE audit programs and for defining standards and best practices to improve HSE KPIs among Nemak.
- Tasks related to HSE disclosure, including recollecting relevant material, monitoring HSE KPIs, consolidating best practices and extending relevant information when required (Annual Report, CDP, Ecovadis, etc.)
- Experience in crisis management and business continuity processes,
including coordination of incident response, escalation protocols, stakeholder communication, lessons learned, and support during critical events at a integral level.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HSE, Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or equivalent.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in HSE within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience in Change Management and implementing initiatives to drive HSE improvements.
- Experience conducting HSE inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading HSE compliance training.
- Experience in Learning & Development, including training design and delivery.
- Strong knowledge of the HSE regulatory environment and associated risks, including methods to eliminate or minimize those risks.
