We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands‐on and customer‐obsessed candidate to support network optimization. Network Planning Manager acts as the lead on driving network performance (quality, speed and cost) through projects and network initiatives, and will form a business partnership with first and middle mile stakeholders and operational Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Teams.
This role will play a key role in developing and deploying network speed initiatives, delivering our vision to improve customer order cut offs and driving great customer experience, as well as in our cost out activities and asset utilization. A significant proportion of the role will be identifying and implementing design and process solutions that increase the reliability and consistent delivery of end‐to‐end performance, removing defects from the pipeline and delivering a corresponding improvement.




The role will own the approval from senior functional leaders to enable strategies to improve performance and schedule cross‐functional resource allocation efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our Fulfilment Centers and Transportation functions and will be a natural self‐starter who is comfortable supporting complex cross‐functional projects and action plans. This position involves regular communication with senior management on network performance, risks and time‐critical mitigation activities.
In order to be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders as well as driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. Strategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and problem resolution
