As a Category Manager – Packaging , you will lead the global sourcing strategy for the packaging category, driving supplier performance, innovation, and cost competitiveness across Carrier's business. Working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, you will develop long‐term supplier partnerships, support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, and ensure a resilient, high‐performing supply base that enables business growth and operational excellence.




Develop and execute the general sourcing strategy and technology roadmap for the packaging category, aligning supplier capabilities with business objectives.
Lead supplier selection, qualification, and strategic sourcing activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects while managing the approved supplier portfolio.
Identify supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging packaging technologies.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Operations to support innovation, supplier performance, and long‐term business growth.
We are looking for people who are strategic, collaborative, results‐driven, analytical, and skilled at building strong supplier partnerships . Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
