Mexico Legal Counsel
Forvia's Interiors Division is seeking an experienced and business-oriented Mexico Legal & Compliance Manager to lead the legal and compliance function for our Mexican operations. This is a highly visible role that serves as a trusted advisor to business leadership while partnering closely with legal, compliance, HR, finance, operations, and commercial teams across North America.
The successful candidate will provide practical legal guidance, oversee compliance initiatives, manage disputes and external counsel, and help drive business objectives while protecting the company's interests and values.
This position offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial matters, corporate transactions, regulatory issues, compliance initiatives, labor and employment matters, and strategic projects within a global automotive technology company.
Legal Leadership
Serve as the primary legal advisor for the operations of the Forvia Interiors Division in Mexico.
Provide practical,



business-focused legal counsel to management and functional leaders on a broad range of commercial and operational matters.
Identify legal and commercial risks and develop practical solutions that support business objectives while appropriately managing risk.
Advise on strategic transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, integrations, and other corporate initiatives.
Manage litigation, disputes, government inquiries, and claims, including oversight of external counsel and legal budget management.
Support corporate governance activities for Mexican legal entities, including board, shareholder, and corporate secretarial matters.
Provide guidance on labor and employment issues in collaboration with Human Resources and Industrial Relations teams.
Partner with integral legal colleagues to ensure alignment with company policies and strategic objectives.
