Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry‐leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical‐based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.
The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical‐based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Lead Integral Programs to execute the OCS Division strategy to drive engineering solutions, proactive (preventive) quality and standard processes throughout the Value Stream and Product Life Cycle specific to customer needs.
This person will develop and execute systems and processes based on manufacturing and engineering capabilities to promote prevention and risk reduction. This requires project and workstream leadership in multiple areas throughout the Fulfillment Stream to accomplish long‐term improvements. The Fulfillment Stream includes both insourced & outsourced (Contract Manufactured) products.
Lead the Product Engineering group for assigned product lines through supervisor support and ensure strategic objectives are met.
Translate design parameters into measurable product specifications and performance requirements, including CTQs
