As a Sales Director at Sovos, you will lead a regional sales team and drive new business growth while expanding offerings within existing accounts. Consistently exceed sales quota through the acquisition of new named accounts and expansion of offerings within existing clients.
Maintain deep knowledge of compliance issues unique to the industry and challenge the status quo to help clients achieve a greater balance between process cost and tax risk.




Represent Sovos at local trade shows and industry conferences.
Lead the sales engagement team to develop strategic Sovos solutions for prospects.
Conduct discovery to understand industry-specific tax scenarios and business drivers.
Orchestrate needs analyses to uncover tax and technology challenges.
Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance sales productivity, pipeline management, and client engagement.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
~5+ years of demonstrated success in enterprise sales, with experience in one or more of the following: tax automation, compliance or consulting services; Tier 1 or 2 ERP software (Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft preferred); or bolt-on software and middleware solutions.
~ Demonstrated ability to manage complex, concurrent sales engagements.
~ Understanding of general accounting
