What is your role?

As a Data Engineer, you will build, maintain, and support data pipelines and cloud鈥慴ased data solutions for Corning鈥檚 manufacturing and operational environments. You will collaborate with manufacturing teams, analysts, data scientists, and technology partners to deliver clean and reliable data for reporting, analytics, operational decision鈥憁aking, and AI/ML applications. This position is id贸neo for a hands鈥憃n Data Engineer who has strong Python and SQL fundamentals and is interested in growing within modern data platforms, manufacturing data, and AI鈥慹nabled solutions.

Responsibilities
- Build, test, and support reliable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver manufacturing,



operational, and business data.
- Develop clean and production鈥憆eady datasets for reporting, analytics, manufacturing visibility, and AI/ML applications.
- Implement automated data鈥憅uality checks, validation rules, monitoring, and troubleshooting processes to improve data reliability.
- Support cloud data鈥憄latform operations, pipeline performance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with manufacturing, analytics, IT, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or another related technical discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in data engineering, data integration, ETL/ELT development, analytics engineering, or a related data鈥慺ocused role.
- At least 2 years of programming experience using Python, with the ability to write cl
