Ingredion is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant - Intercompany / Purchase Products to join our Shared Service Center in Guadalajara. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of intercompany transactions for the North America region, supporting financial excellence and compliance.
As an Accountant - Intercompany / Purchase Products, you will execute intercompany accounting transactions for the North America business, in accordance with GAAP, ensuring transactions are accurate and properly stated. You will also participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
This role reports to the Chief General Accounting.
What will you do:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements to ensure accurate expenditure data for the US/Canadian business.
- Provide financial information for internal and external audits.
- Book journal entries and ensure compliance with applicable standards.




- Manage purchase product direct wires for US and Canada.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and identify process improvements.
- Perform account and variance analysis and support special projects.
- Initiate and develop system changes to improve financial information availability.
- Bill invoices to Canadian affiliates as requested.
- Support team members and participate in group problem-solving activities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction across SSC and business units, especially with plants.

What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 4+ years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable, financial analysis, reporting, or auditing within multinational manufacturing entities.
- Proficiency in English.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience with SAP, FICO module.
