Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) sincerely invites outstanding talents of all levels in biomedical frontier research from well-known universities and research institutions at home and abroad to join us as an independent Principal Investigator (PI). Basic qualifications for Senior PIs





Possession of a tenured professor position or equivalent positions in well-known universities or research institutions at home and abroad; Recognized academic achievements and contributions; Evidence of international reputation and influence; Excellence in teaching graduate classes and mentorship of young researchers; Ability to lead the development of disciplines or catch up with the international advanced level.

Basic qualifications for Tenured PIs

Possession of a tenured associate professor or an equivalent position in well-known universities or research institutions at home and abroad; Outstanding capability to conduct innovative research and potential to become a leader in the field; Excellence in teaching and mentoring graduates; Evidence of international recognition.

Basic qualifications for Junior PIs

Possession of a Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral research experience; Academic achievements comparable to those of an assistant professor or equivalent position in well-known universities or research institutions at home and abroad;
