As a Capital Modeling Specialist, you'll provide the technical expertise to support the capital management framework including its capital models and other technical tools.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the enterprise capital modeling including an internal stochastic capital model as well as rating agency and regulatory capital models
- Responsible for forecasting,
scenario testing and stress testing surplus and capital adequacy
- Develop and maintain other capital management tools and processes including capital allocation
- Run ad-hoc analyses to support capital management requests and recommendations
- Maintain documentation of all capital management processes and tools
Requirements
Required Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree in actuarial science
Total Work Experience
- Minimum Required: 2-5 capital modeling
- Minimum Required: 5-10 financial analysis experience
English Proficiency
- Minimum Required: Fluent
Additional Qualification:
- Command of one or more programming languages including Python/R/SQL/SAS required
- Expertise in Excel required. Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Knowledge of capital modeling software preferred
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
