Job Summary
Responsible for understanding and interpreting requirements of a project within construction documents and specifications to design a controls system tailored to the specific project needs, including effectively communicating with sales agents/customers at all stages of design.
Uses visual software suite to help generate the requested deliverable set through the RFA process based on their interpretation and input. Suggests changes to deliverables to customer and amends original requirements.
Delivers bill of material, layout and/or submittal.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Designs lighting systems based on construction documents, specifications and/or sales agent/customer needs, including provided suggested changes and amendments to original design.
- Utilizes construction software to review and mark up construction documents including fixture schedules, details, and single line diagrams.
