Role Overview
The Energy Engineer is responsible to support and interface with all engineering activities across disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Automation (instrumentation and control (I&C;)), acting as primary technical support for the Project Manager. He/she supports and provides general clarifications for the technical integrity of the project. Supports in design reviews, interfaces with subcontractors, and ensures the engineering deliverables are aligned with client requirements.
Primary tasks include
- Provide technical clarifications to the customer, suppliers and project team members
- Supports the PM in risk and claim management by identifying and evaluating any technical deviations (risks) and, where applicable, preparing proposals for minimizing risks and identifying and exploiting opportunities.
- Preparing and reviewing technical/engineering documentation in coordination with Site Managers and Construction Manager
- Continuous collaboration with Scheduler and PM to update the schedule
- Main technical collaborator and interface with Contract Manager to develop and issue technical specifications, RFQs and Statements of Work for Contracts and Variations. The elaboration of technical specifications, requisitions and Statements of Work must be originated from the technical part, interface with contractual language to be managed by Contract Manager.
