Your role and responsibilities

As Senior Electrical Project Engineer you will have the opportunity to design and develop electrical specifications for custom Baldor/Reliance NEMA motors across four global manufacturing plants. As design authority for the electrical engineering discipline, you will manage multiple projects, deliver advanced electrical specifications and analysis, and ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

This role is contributing to the NEMA Baldor/Reliance Custom Motor Design Engineering Team} in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco. Main stakeholders are Product Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Design and specify electrical components for custom NEMA motors with complete winding designs, technical specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Apply engineering principles and sound judgment to optimize motor performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Perform engineering calculations including performance analysis, thermal considerations, and regulatory compliance verification
- Develop winding designs and electrical specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, and construction
- Create detailed electrical designs and specifications meeting Customer Order requirements and Industry Standards
