Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Aerospace Recruiter to own end-to-end talent acquisition for our growing aerospace operations. In this role, you will partner directly with engineering directors and hiring managers to source, attract, and hire world-class talent across propulsion, flight software, systems engineering, manufacturing, and mission operations.

The ideal candidate understands the nuances of the aerospace and defense talent landscape—including passive sourcing techniques for hard-to-find engineers, security clearance logistics, and technical skill verification.

Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Lifecycle Talent Acquisition

- Sourcing &
- Pipeline Building: Proactively source passive technical candidates (propulsion engineers, avionics technicians, flight control software engineers, quality leads) via LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized aerospace networks, cleared talent portals, and industry events.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the complete candidate journey from initial outreach, phone screening, and interview scheduling to offer negotiation, closing, and pre-boarding.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with Hiring Managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and establish structured interview rubrics.

Specialized Aerospace &

- Clearances: Verify candidate eligibility regarding ITAR/EAR regulations (U.S. Person status) and assist with security clearance processing where applicable.
- Market Intelligence: Serve as a subject-matter expert on market trends, compensation benchmarks,



and competitive landscapes in the aerospace and defense sectors.
- University &
- Industry Outreach: Represent the company at university career fairs, industry conferences (e.g., AIAA, Space Symposium), and veteran/military transition programs.

Process Optimization &
- Candidate Experience

- ATS Management: Maintain accurate candidate tracking, interview notes, and pipeline metrics within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Employer Branding: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that communicates our mission, culture, and technical roadmap.

Qualifications &

- ProfileMinimum Qualifications

- Experience: 3+ years of full-lifecycle technical recruiting experience, with at least 1-2 years specifically within aerospace, defense, space systems, or advanced hardware manufacturing.
- Sourcing Expertise: Proven track record of sourcing passive candidates for hard-to-fill engineering and specialized technician roles.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Basic working knowledge of ITAR / EAR compliance requirements in hiring.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday), and candidate sourcing tools.





Preferred Qualifications
- Experience sourcing candidates with Security Clearances (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI).
- Background recruiting across multidisciplinary engineering areas (Turbomachinery, Guidance/Navigation/Control, RF Systems, Composite Structures).
- Familiarity with military transition programs (e.g., SkillBridge) and veteran recruiting pipelines.
