Senior Network Engineer: This position’s focus is to provide architectural oversight, design, build, release and ongoing support for the global network, managing and monitoring throughput, stability and security. Working with the global infrastructure team, this role will take the responsibility for designing, implementing and supporting the WAN, SDWAN, LAN, WLAN, Firewall, technologies for all global sites. Other responsibilities include assistive support for OT networks and Cybersecurity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Accountable for the stability and security of the global network.
- Utilize, promote, and improve Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change/Release Management policies and procedures.
- Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, and network hardware.
- A subject matter point of reference for decision making related to IT strategy, architecture, and investment.
- Responsible for monitoring, assessing, and managing network technology risks to maintain system integrity and establish improvement plans and programs.
- Plan and run Infrastructure projects, complying with project management methodologies, and ensuring the integrity of interdependent operational services and other projects.
- Accountable for owning and/or contributing to security compliance regulations – Information and Infrastructure Security.
- Support disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Responsible for following all safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations, maintaining a safe workplace. Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Create/Implement/Close Change Management Requests and Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Able to think through problems and visualize solutions.




- Advanced knowledge of switches, routers, wireless access controllers and firewalls.
- Advanced operational knowledge of networking systems and software covering both Local Area Networks (LANs). and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
- Knowledge of the management and deployment of WAN optimization and QoS.
- Strong skills in writing policies, procedures and producing reports, business cases, and other support documentation.
- Able to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Able to provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.
- Able to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment while consistently maintaining attention to detail.
- Must have highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Dependable and flexible when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and outside the organization, especially in problem resolution situations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and accomplish tasks.
- Able to work within a team environment, cross-functional departments, and divisions to maintain open lines of communication,



cultivating positive working relationships that will benefit the customer and company profitability.

Requisitos

Vacante 100% bilingüe, se hará prueba oral y escrita

List Required Skills (Non-Negotiable):

- CCNA or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a role as a network engineer in an enterprise environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
- Strong troubleshooting and triaging network issues
- Strong knowledge of network control protocols and routing , network management protocols (CDP, SFTP, SNMP) and network security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, SDWAN)
- Understanding of LAN/WAN transport technologies (Ethernet, Wireless LAN technologies, SDN)
- Amenable to working US hours (1-10pm PT) and rotation for on-call duties on weekends
- Specialty in supporting the following hardware: Cisco - Meraki
- Experience with network monitoring and system management

- Hands on experience with wireless networks

List Preferred Skills (Negotiable):

- PLC and SCADA experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of virtual networking in cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- Palo Alto Firewall experience is a plus

- Must be able to work on-call rotation, with occasional business travel.
- Standard working hours with the ability to be versátil given time zone differences.
