Responsibilities
- Partner with business units, product managers, and users to gather, clarify, and document comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyze "as-is" business processes, identify pain points or inefficiencies, and design optimal "to-be" workflows to streamline operations
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and structured user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, using Gherkin/BDD where appropriate, for the development backlog
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units, facilitating communication and managing expectations throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) and business users to validate that delivered software meets original business requirements, including support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or software development environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for breaking down complex systems and processes into logical, easy-to-understand components
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working within sprint cycles
- Proficiency in documenting requirements and workflows using tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, or similar platforms
- Experience working in Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail domains
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher
