At FLSmidth, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist – International to coordinate transportation and import operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational continuity, and efficient support for internal customers. You will be part of a dynamic and challenging environment, coordinating international shipments and working with multiple general stakeholders to ensure an efficient flow of goods.
Short Department Description
You will be part of the Traffic & Logistics team within Group Procurement.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate international shipments and cargo follow-up
- Manage import and transportation documentation
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Monitor KPI performance of logistics providers
- Schedule operations according to delivery priorities
- Manage risks and resolve operational contingencies
- Validate payments related to international operations
- Issue periodic logistics management reports
What You Bring
- Degree in International Trade or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles
- Knowledge of international logistics and imports
- Experience with international shipping documentation
- Knowledge of Incoterms and IMO cargo
- Intermediate technical English skills
- Strong coordination and teamwork abilities
- Safety and continuous improvement mindset
