This Role
The Especialista en Medios Pagados / Media Buyer will lead paid media execution focused on the Mexican market, supporting both local advertisers and international brands entering Mexico for the first time. This role requires strong platform expertise, market fluency, and the ability to operate confidently in both Spanish and English.
You will be responsible for planning, activating, and optimizing media across digital and select traditional channels,



while collaborating with Criterion Global’s international strategy and client leadership teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns for the Mexican market
- Manage digital platforms including Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, programmatic, and local publishers
- Support traditional media execution where relevant (radio, OOH, print, TV coordination)
- Localize global strategies for the Mexican media landscape and audience behavior
- Monitor performance, budgets, pacing, and campaign optimization
- Prepare clear, accurate reporting for both local and international stakeholders
- Collaborate with global strategy, analytics, and client leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with platform policies, local regulations, and best practices
- Support local and inbound international advertisers entering and expanding their share of voice in Mexico
