Are you a student looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Logistics and Quality Management Systems within a integral manufacturing company?
At SKF, we are looking for a motivated and proactive Logistics Intern who is eager to learn, develop professional skills, and contribute to preparing our Logistics and Warehouse areas for the ISO 9001:2015 Audit.
What will you do?
- Support daily logistics, inventory control, and warehouse management activities.
- Participate in internal quality audits and workplace walkthroughs within the warehouse areas.
- Support the review, update, and standardization of logistics processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with logistics indicators, inventory accuracy reports, and data analysis.
- Support the identification of process gaps and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
- Help maintain and organize quality documentation, records, and 5S standards in storage areas.
- Support training and awareness activities related to quality standards for warehouse staff.
- Assist in continuous improvement projects focused on supply chain efficiency and audit readiness.
What are we looking for?
- Currently studying Industrial Engineering,
Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (data sorting, formulas, and charts).
- Basic understanding or high interest in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and warehouse operations.
- Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and work on the shop floor / warehouse environment.
- Intermediate English is desirable.
Internship Details
- Location: Puebla, Mexico
- Work arrangement: On-site
- Schedule: Part-time (8:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- Duration: Minimum 1 year
- Academic insurance: (IMSS) coverage for the full year is mandatory to participate in the project.
