Summary

Core Molding Technologies is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities and ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.

This role supervises production employees, monitors output and performance, resolves operational issues, and promotes a positive, disciplined work environment.

The Production

Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining productivity, quality, safety, and continuous improvement within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet established production schedules, volume, cost, quality, and scrap objectives
- Monitor production output and quality and adjust staffing, priorities, equipment, or processes as needed to maintain performance
- Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve performance and quality expectations
- Address employee and operational issues promptly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, downtime, and production performance
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency, and quality
- Promote a positive, respectful, and productive work environment
- Ensure employees follow company policies, production procedures, and safety requirements
- Promote workplace organization, cleanliness, and discipline through 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Monitor safe operation of equipment and maintain a strong safety culture within the production area
- Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards,



and applicable environmental requirements
- Prepare and communicate production information and reports to identify performance issues and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of production waste in accordance with company procedures and environmental requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience
- 2–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role
- Manufacturing experience, preferably in a molding or similar environment
- Experience leading and developing production employees
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and workplace safety
- Ability to analyze production performance and take effective corrective action
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems preferred
