The quality engineer in paint shop is in charge of foreign material analysis, follow up warraty paint claims and paint quality measure equipments. Perform systematic visual inspections of painted parts to detect foreign material defects (dust, fibers, insects, particles). Record, document, and classify defects according to quality standards.
Support product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications. Coordinate and participate in cross-functional problem-solving meetings (production, maintenance, engineering). Propose improvements in processes, equipment, or materials to enhance paint quality.
Document results and present progress to supervisors or management. Ensure quality improvement through SIS methodology implementation

Supplier Quality Coordination Lead investigations with suppliers when raw materials or consumables are suspected as sources of contamination.

Cross-Functional Resource Collaboration Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics to allocate the necessary tools, personnel, and time for inspections, cleaning cycles, and containment actions.
They are responsible for understanding, participating in, and ensuring the implementation of the ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 systems, as well as the Stellantis Manufacturing Quality Manual, Quality Management System (QMS), Global Requirements (Operational Standards), Regional Requirements (North American legal requirements), Procedures, Work Instructions, and internal formats (MSP), the Stellantis Production System (SPW), and any additional systems or initiatives the organization decides to implement.
They are responsible for complying with corporate and legal safety and health requirements within their area/scope of control and for ensuring that the workers under their supervision follow appropriate safety practices.
They are also responsible for implementing and participating in the ISO 14001 system, ensuring the safe final disposal of their waste, and maintaining environmental performance indicators
